A recently built two-bedroom villa on Jl. Raya Uma Buluh in Canggu, a quiet lane between Berawa and Babakan with warungs and coffee places at the end of it. The pool runs the length of the villa along a full-height glazed wall, so the living room opens straight onto the water. Inside the palette is white plaster, rattan and pale timber: an arched niche behind each bed, woven pendant lights, a long kitchen counter with a breakfast bar. Both bedrooms are king. The bathrooms are the best part of the house - one is open to a small planted courtyard with a rain shower under the sky, another has a floating timber vanity against a wall of greenery. Rented on a yearly basis only.
